The ryokan's beauty is captivating, with a lovely blend of traditional and modern styles. The private onsen was a highlight, providing a relaxing experience after a long journey. Some staff struggled with English, and the building's age showed in a few areas needing maintenance. A nice stay.

The location was great and particularly good, short walk to Beautiful nature and mountains, and red bridge. We had family room to ourselves with a beautiful atmosphere. The vibe here was family...

The highlight was the OUTSTANDING food. We appreciated the room, it was absolutely fantastic with a beautiful atmosphere. Location: the hotel was just next door to beautiful nature, red bridge and the bus stop. We stayed for 1 night here, loved Shima Onsen district.

Completely satisfied!

The Mori Room was huge, more like a spacious apartment than a typical room. Super clean and comfy beds with a fluffy comforter. We had a private onsen and the views were amazing, especially while soaking. Daily replaced local snacks and drinks in the room were a nice touch. The sliding doors kept it dark in the mornings, which I totally appreciated. Just loved the whole atmosphere of the place!

More comfortable seating in common areas, please.

The room was fantastic, with a private onsen. Delicious meals exceeded my expectations, especially the salmon which was a highlight. The ambiance was upgraded with thoughtful touches, like the aromatic scents and complimentary snacks available in the lounge. While the outdoor onsen was sublime, more seating comfort in communal areas could have improved the overall experience.

I had the best time experiencing the outdoor tubs and the beautiful room, but I wish there were more vegetarian options available at dinner. Definitely coming back!

A Nice Escape with Fine Views

Exploring the local area was a journey in itself, but the very nice open-air bath made every effort worthwhile. Pro tip, be prepared to pay cash for local buses-it's part of the adventure!

The freshest fish for breakfast had me hooked! The presentation was a feast for the eyes as well. Plus, the serene ambiance and spacious room made it a combo that felt divine. Can't forget the dreamy outdoor tubs!

We would have loved a private onsen, but we guess we booked too late! Plus, some of the sandals were a tad small, and a few more veggie options for dinner would've been a cherry on top.

The room was super spacious with a private bathroom and an open-air bath that was just perfect. Everything was clean-loved the tatami flooring! The hot spring bath was a soothing treat after a long day. Dinner was a highlight with beautifully presented traditional dishes, and breakfast featured the freshest fish. Ambiance was super serene and cozy.

I enjoyed a wonderful stay in a lovely suite that had a beautiful atmosphere, and the electric kettle, climate control, and individual safe all worked perfectly.

The veggie menu was delicious, but climbing stairs with luggage was challenging.
